These days, there is a lot of discussion about the film 'Bombay' in the city of films, Bollywood. The film is scheduled to be released in June. 'Bombay' writer-director Sanjay Niranjan shows me some scenes from his film in the audio lab. The heroine of the film creates some fascinating moments in the action-packed underground story of the post-Bombay riots. This face looks familiar... "This is Akshitaa Agnihotri!" Sanjay Niranjan says, "She has a key role in my film 'Bombay'. She brings action and glamorous moments to the story."

"There are two more songs on me too." Akshitaa completes his sentence."

Akshitaa Agnihotri had come to Mumbai from Patiala (Punjab) with her passion for films, while her single mother Neha Sharma, a teacher by profession, had come to support her daughter. There was no film connection. Her beautiful glamorous photographs adorned Vijay Mallya's famous Kingfisher calendar and Akshitaa became Kingfisher's regular model.

Kingfisher Calendar Girl, Ponds Femina Miss India Chandigarh First Runner Up, PCJ Femina Miss Timeless Beauty, Vaseline Femina Miss Beautiful Lips, Max Femina Miss Fashion Icon, etc. Akshitaa has participated in Kingfisher Bangalore Fashion Week, Kingfisher Ultra Punjab Fashion Week, and Indian International Jewelry She has participated in Fashion Week, Geetanjali Life Style Chennai Fashion Week, Goa International Fashion Week, and Hyderabad International Fashion Week. She has also been a trainer for the Citadel Ramp walk and many ramp walks.

Before becoming the heroine of the film 'Bombay', Akshitaa Agnihotri has also done many TV shows and has made a mark for herself by working hard. She says, "I had no godfather in this industry, my godmother is my mother, who is my guide, friend, and companion." Akshitaa laughs. "Now I have started for the big screen. ‘Bombay' is a film made in four languages, along with Hindi, it is also made in Marathi, Telugu, and Kannada and all four films are being released simultaneously.

"What is your role in this film?"

"A simple girl from the village comes to the city to earn, and after coming to Mumbai, how she falls in love and gets entangled in the underworld...something like this." Akshitaa says, "There is a big twist in my role which will shock the audience."

Akshitaa Agnihotri is currently associated with other films, OTT, and web series. Apart from 'Bombay', she has Milan Luthria's film 'Sultan of Delhi' ready for release. "We will talk about other projects later, for now only 'Bombay'... which is releasing in June."
